DROSHA but not DICER is Required for Human Haematopoietic Stem Cell Function
Guest speaker, Carina Walpole, Ph.D. from the laboratory of Dr. Kristen Radford at the University of Queensland, Australia, leads a discussion on their recent publication. Using lentiviral shRNA constructs, they demonstrate that DROSHA, but not DICER, is required for the differentiation of human HSCs after engraftment into immunodeficient NSG-SGM3 mice.
