Metabolic phenotypes expected from the JAX MSNASH/PcoJ Model

Male MSNASH/PcoJ mice are models of metabolic syndrome and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
Metabolic phenotypes developing between 6 and 26 weeks of age include obesity, moderately elevated glucose, glucose intolerance, dyslipidemia, and steatosis. A diet high in fat, fructose, and cholesterol leads to more pronounced NASH including elevated liver enzymes, liver inflammation
and fibrosis.
