MiceTech Talk Episode 37: Let's Talk How to Test if Your Drug Induces a Cytokine Storm (May 25, 2021)

May 25, 2021 - Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) occurs when the immune system is over-activated, triggered by factors including the administration of many cancer immunotherapies. Drug developers of CAR T cells or bispecific antibodies often don’t know that a cytokine storm may jeopardize the patient’s life until a drug recipient experiences devastating CRS-induced side effects. In this episode, we discuss how JAX created a unique platform to help predict CRS, addressing this critical challenge earlier in the drug development process.
